Job Summary:

Assist in managing client investment objectives, asset allocation structures, investment manager and mutual fund selection, evaluation and performance monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses; prepare materials and present recommendations on investment and financial issues.
  • Create/develop diversified portfolios to enable increased returns and lower volatility consistent with time horizon, risk tolerance, and income needs.
  • Work with and present to Investment Committees and CIO/CFO of client institutions, or high net worth individuals.
  • Select and evaluate investment managers and mutual funds for virtually all asset classes, including alternative assets.
  • Work with Dean’s Pension Consulting group to update models, produce quarterly due diligence books and answer participant questions.
  • Develop and implement investment objectives, policies, and asset allocations for complex client structures.
  • Assist in producing reports and answering Request for Proposals (RFP).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.  CFA required.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and work under pressure within a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize the tasks at hand.
  • Knowledge of financial markets.

Desired:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Zephyr’s Style ADVISOR and Allocation ADVISOR.
  • Consulting experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Advent’s APX Reporting System and MOXY Order Management System.
